Help Preserve Social Security for the Future

For 79 years now, Social Security has been a program that seniors and disabled individuals can count on to make ends meet.

It’s easy to lose sight of the faces behind Social Security. They’re our mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers and friends. They’re people who have spent their working lives paying into the program — and who have earned the benefits they receive.

We can’t privatize Social Security. We can’t cut benefits. We need to preserve and extend the life of the program for this and generations of seniors to come.

So today, with the 79th anniversary of Social Security, I’m joining with a few of my colleagues and friends to protect Social Security — and we’d like you to join us. Sign the petition to show your support for Social Security.

Social Security is not a political bargaining chip. It’s a guaranteed benefit for millions of Americans — and we cannot let that benefit disappear.

Thank you for standing with us today

Kay Hagan.
